There would always be spring (large).jpg

Born:  Saskatchewan, Canada

I began painting in 2009 after spending time working with an artist in the south of France. The following year, 2010, I studied at l'ecole des Beaux-arts in Paris. Paris- the texture of the city, its intrinsic romance with the arts, its sensuality, its architecture and light- continues to exert its influence on my work.

Returning home to Florida, I continue working in oils and acrylics.  Although my paintings often include recognizable imagery, it is not my intent to create documentary work.  My interest is in creating works which convey a sense of motion, suggest a contemplative state, or elicit an emotional response.
